Hi guys! Did everyone follow the One Room Challenge, hosted by Linda of Calling it Home? If you’re not familiar, it’s a biennial event held in April and October every year in which twenty featured designers are challenged to completely makeover a room in their home, and we all follow along every week. Week 6 is the big reveal week. My favorite part is that guest designers are allowed to link up- this year there were over 200! I always love following their progress every week. I thought it would be fun to show you guys some of my favorites from the guest designers!
The Moody Room Reveal-The Gold Hive
I love how Ashley from The Gold Hive managed to make this room cozy and comfortable, but still bright at the same time. That paint color is absolutely gorgeous. It can be difficult to manage the juxtaposition between bright white trim and ceiling and dark moody colors together just right, but she nailed it. This is a room that I could spend a lot of time in!
One Room Challenge-The Kitchen Reveal- Jana Bek Designs
You guys know my obsession with removing my upper kitchen cabinets (at this point, do you feel like you need to take a shot whenever you see those words in a post?) Jana Bek did that (not the shot part-you know what I mean), plus beautiful tile, plus look at those stools…and those windows….this is pretty much kitchen perfection and is making me kind of incoherent with my words.
A Cozy Home Office Makeover- Life on Southpointe Drive
I love how Holly’s home office turned out-light, bright, and super cheerful with tons of function and storage! She turned her dining room into her office, so this was truly an entire room makeover in 6 weeks. She had so many useful projects and posts throughout the challenge- you have got to check her out!
Vintage Inspired Farmhouse Bathroom Makeover-Christina’s Adventures
Y’all, this is good. I mean, a really, really good bathroom makeover. So many beautiful details in this bathroom- truly, from the ceiling to the floor. Just when I think that maybe, maybe I am ready to start moving past the farmhouse/vintage look a little, a room like this comes along, and then I’m all like, never mind.
The One Room Challenge Final Reveal- Kim Power Style
So much to see in Kim’s beautiful office/workroom. From the gorgeous watercolor effect stenciled wall, to a super cool barn door, I loved following along with her progress every week! One of my favorite reveals.
Which was your favorite One Room Challenge makeover?
Thank you so much for featuring my home office makeover! You made my week! 🙂
You’re very welcome! It is a great space!
