Hey guys! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I’m going to be starting something new this week. I’ve been missing posting three times a week, and sometimes there is just random stuff that I like to share. So I’m going to be doing that on Mondays with my Monday, Monday posts. I’ll include a weekly Hi-Lo, a Pin of the Week, a fun/interesting/cool link to check out, a Real Estate Spy section with an old house that’s on the market just waiting for a buyer (the kind I love!), and other info that I think may be interesting or helpful.
I’m also going to be posting on Tuesdays and Thursdays…the regular design and diy stuff.
Hope you enjoy!
The fence is in!
Y’all, we finally had the fence installed this week-it was finished on Thursday. It was about 3 weeks behind schedule, but worth the wait. Marshall and Tucker are loving their new freedom in the yard, and Michael and I did a happy dance at finally getting them out of the house full time for good (they’ll still come in and out, just won’t stay in all the time).
Cleaning the house behind two dogs- it’s no joke. Worse than two kids. They both shed like crazy, and I could just never keep up with it.
Now, I’m on the lookout for ways to beautify that fence. I’m thinking climbing roses?

John and Sherry of Young House Love (you may have heard of them) were in my neck of the woods lately, and they did a post about an awesome children’s bookstore in the town of Monroe, Georgia. Y’all have to check it out! There are so many creative and wonderful ideas that you could use in a kids bedroom from the design of this bookstore. I drive through Monroe a lot for work, but I’ve never stopped at this bookstore. It is magical!
Pin of the week
I’ve pinned a lot this week, and this image from domainehome.com totally caught my eye:
So beautiful, right? I love the wallpaper with the subway tile. This is a great example of a kitchen that is neutral but definitely not boring. Think of the possibilities with color in there just by changing a few accessories!

Well, the big Nordstrom sale is over (and I promise to quit mentioning it!), but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep our eyes open for good deals!
I love handbags- they are to me what shoes are to Carrie Bradshaw. I’ve been on the hunt for a good leather bag for awhile (and no, I held back and did not buy the Frye that I was lamenting in my last Monday, Monday). I’m no fashion blogger, but I hope you’ll indulge me for including these in my Hi-Lo of the week.
Real Estate Spy
Allright, for those of you interested in moving to Hertford, North Carolina, this gem is for you!
Look at this gorgeous interior:
I mean, clearly it needs a teeny tiny bit of work. I mean, I guess if you think ceilings are important and all. But still. I’d snap this up in a heartbeat!
See you tomorrow! I’ll be back with a post all about organization and storage in the mudroom!
