Hi guys, welcome to Monday, Monday! This week, I’m sharing an article on blogging that you really MUST read in Check this Out, the cutest little bathroom ever in the Pin of the Week, a back-to-basics wreath for a Hi-Lo, and a happy/sad Just One Thing.
Check This Out
I shared this on my Facebook already, but I love it so much I’m sharing again. Erica at Designing Vibes wrote a post that spoke to me and tons of other bloggers, and other everyday women non-bloggers out there. As a blogger, especially a new blogger (when sometimes you feel like you are just writing to yourself and your momma) it’s so easy to compare yourself to other bloggers who seem to do it all and then feel like an absolute failure when you don’t add up- and as a mom, we do the same thing! Erica’s post just drives a stake through the heart of that nonsense. She’s writing to her readers, not other bloggers, but I found a lot of comfort in it regardless. Trust me, it’s a must read.
Pin of the Week
This is what I’d love my bathroom to look like! The wallpaper, the vanity, all of it! The vanity was converted from an antique dresser.
You’ve got to check out the entire article that is linked in the pin- it’s a good read! All of the images are gorgeous.

A friend of mine was lamenting the fact that she spent a lot of money on a magnolia wreath from a well known company, but the quality wasn’t good so she had to return it. Magnolia wreaths are notoriously hard to find for a good price, so I thought I’d try to find a few at different price points.
There aren’t any reviews on the Crate & Barrel and the mid-priced Kohl’s yet, but the $29.99 Kohl’s has positive reviews!
This time of year it seems like the wreaths seem to start getting more and more elaborate (and I should know, I’ve got a pretty elaborate Georgia wreath myself on my front door) 😉 It’s kind of nice sometimes to just pare down a bit and simplify the decor.
Just One Thing
It’s my birthday! Although I’m extremely blessed and happy to be able to celebrate another year, I’m a little sad because I’m at a work conference all week and had to leave today, so I only saw the boys for a few minutes this morning, and won’t return until Thursday night- not the best birthday present. But, I’m lucky to have a job that I truly look forward to every day, and I know I’ll see those boys in a few days, so I’ll survive 🙂
I’ll have the One Room Challenge Week 2 post up on Thursday, just not linked since I won’t be home to link it. I’m excited for you all to see the progress! Have a great week!
