Hey guys! I’m back from a little blogging/social media break, and during that time, got a ton accomplished on Beau’s room! Today I want to share how I found what I think is a super unique cloth American flag was tapestry that I think is really the showpiece of his room. Bonus- it was really inexpensive!
Cloth American flag wall tapestry
As you know, Beau wanted his room to have a patriotic vibe, so a large scale American flag was a must. We wanted one that would take up most the wall on the right when you walk into his room. And, I was hoping to find a cloth American flag instead of a nylon one- just something that looked a little more artistic than an outdoor flag would have. I found the perfect one on Society6.
I really, really love how it works with the antique dresser. That dresser has been in my family for years- it was my grandparent’s.
It’s really hard to get a full size picture in the room, but it’s 7.3 ft X 8.6 ft, so pretty big. It’s polyester, very soft, and was easy to hang. I just attached grommets to the top of it and then hung it by the grommets with thumb tacks.
It’s pretty wrinkled, but that’s because I had it stored for about a month before I actually hung it up. I like the relaxed vibe it gives the room though so we just ran with it. Which is a good thing because ironing that thing would have been a you know what.
Here, you can get a peek at the suspended bed! Yup, it’s done. I’ll write a post on it next week probably. The window coverings are ordered (just did some basic shades from Blinds.com, my go-to for good looking but inexpensive shades) and they’ll be here in a week or so.
So, price. Normally this wall tapestry is $83.99, which I think is pretty reasonable for the size and quality. I bought mine on sale though, and ended up paying $67, which included $9 in shipping. I was happy with that.
What do you think about the cloth American flag wall tapestry?
