It’s week 2 of the $100 Room Challenge, hosted by Erin of Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry, and yup, already I’m behind, thanks to a weekend full of baseball, football, and birthday parties. #hellofall
So all I’ve gotten done so far is cleaning up the space, and patching up the many holes in the walls and the seams. So basically, the basics. Pretty boring update, huh? (By the way, check out Week 1 for the before and the plans!)
But, inspired by the many beautiful moodboards that the other participants posted last week, I thought I’d make a pantry moodboard myself- with one small update that was inspired by this beautiful bathroom by At Charlotte’s House:
Charlotte updated this bathroom for $60! You’ve got to check it out! That girl is seriously amazing.
Anyway, I love that wall treatment- a little more fun and unexpected than shiplap, and it satisfies my need for color. I’m going to give it a try- color choice pending 😀
Here’s a pantry moodboard that I put together of this little space:
I already use baskets a good bit for organization in our cabinets and even our open shelving, so I definitely plan to implement them, and most likely some canisters as well. I’ll also invest in something functional to store cans and spices. Keep in mind, to be really functional, it will probably look a little less pretty…but a girl can dream, right? And part of my challenge will to make it pretty and functional. Because I know myself, and I won’t be motivated to keep it organized if it doesn’t look good.
Be sure to check out the rest of the talented bloggers participating in the $100 Room Challenge in the link up, below! I’m already amazed at the creativity going on in these spaces!
